Perfect for topping anything from vegetables to rice.
This sauce was simple and super versatile. It could be used on anything really. And spiced according to what it's being paired with. Here is was placed on a bed of basmati rice. Also plated are homemade chicken burgers, fat-free biscuit, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and fat-free onion rings! All the accompanied food recipes can be found on other blog posts.
Ingredients:
1 can fat-free evaporated skim milk
2 tblsp. corn starch
1 tsp. thyme
3 tblsp. fresh oregano
2 cloves crushed garlic
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients into pot. Heat on medium-high until thickened. Stir frequently and be careful not to burn or let boil over.
