Tiny bursts of Fall flavour!
Ingredients:
4-6 phyllo pasty sheets
1tsp cinnamon
1tsp ginger
1tsp nutmeg
6 baking apples (MacIntosh), peeled and diced small
1/2c cranberries
Preparation:
Add apples and cranberries into mixing bowl. Sprinkle with spices and mix well.
Cut pastry into rectangular shapes, 2 layers thick, and lay flat.
Fill rectangles and wraps ends together
Bake @350 for approximately 30 minutes or until phyllo pastry is crispy and insides are warm.
**Phyllo pasty is surprisingly low fat, 0.5g fat/sheet. 1 sheet is fairly large so you are able to enjoy several of these little bundles.
